t2f,

Messy seems to work for me. Great looking mess. Really like your choice of colors.

Bill,
You are approaching the allusive tan flymph. But, I like yours better! The only thing missing is a hatch appx. that color. The form is excellent. The tail, just as it ought to be! Once again Bill you are zeroing in on perfection! I am sooo glad that you bought your camera!

Bill,
Nicely done. Your flymphs certainly have the life-like quality in the body and hackle. You've definitely nailed the techniques. These are great to see. I can't wait until you get to try them out...when the water is a little warmer.

I swear the first thing that popped in my mind when I saw the picture of that fly was a Yellow Sally. Excellent Photo.

Yellow Sally's in the Catskills are just about that size.....but i aint never seen one with so much goin' on.........might just be the ticket to spark a Trout interest. ;)
i gotta question for you Bill.....do you think that fly would stay right in the surface film if VERY lightly dressed? You'd prolly have to dress your tippet (and or leader), as well.........?
