Here's another one from the "Addict". I had never tied this fly before, but I really like the pattern.
Hook: 1x long nymph hook
Thread: black
Body: 2/3's peacock heavy, 1/3 black wool or fur ( used angora wool)
Rib: heavy silver wire
Hackle: Partridge dyed iron blue dun

Carl - That looks like a "capital killer"! I am definitely going to add some of these to by fly box. Wonderful fly.

Dean's Black.....I remember it from the "Addict". There are alot of good patterns listed in that classic book and it seems you have discovered them too! I think you did (and do) a terrific job on this one. Sly would definately approve! Are there others you have tried?
