Grouse and Orange 1530

I sometimes just marvel at some materials. These together are just a joy to hold.

I know, this isn't my typical rib technique. Its a length of silk left long over the bend as silk is wrapped up the shank instead of down. Blame it on youthful rebellion. It's anarchy.

I'm pretty sure Jean Valjean would approve; I know I do.

Youthful rebellion and a bit of anarchy is what's kept civilization on track for many a millinium..... :D .....not that we've really made that much progress yet............ but at least that's a step in the right direction..... ;)
The **** will never be completely right til we protect all our watersheds.....have a good Jazz club in every town and city.....and stop wasting time with bullcrap and get fly fishing/tying, and listening to the messege. :) Btw, the fly KILLS! 8-)

p.s. i'm working on a way to mail your fly.....

Thanks all for the comments.

I'm not sure which I would prefer, having the spirit of Jean Valjean, or living my life based on Tom Waits songs. Either way is trouble.
