Here's more of the dyed dubbing from Ruard in a flymph-style pattern ...

Hook: Daiichi 1550, #14
Thread: Pearsall's Gossamer, claret
Hackle: Reddish hen back with black markings
Tail: Reddish hen hackle fibers
Body: Hare's mask dyed claret spun in claret silk thread on dubbing block

I imagine this would be a very effective pattern for an isonychia hatch. Lovely fly.

Absolutely Ray.....beautiful tye.....fish it right thru a riffle, just along the seams if there are any.....edges where fast and slow/deeper water meet, no weight, NO indicator. :D ;)

nice fly, redish and brownish colors in any combo can't miss, I do well with these 2 color combo's in all type's of variations, all year.
