Thread: Pearsall's golden
Body: gold Uni Yarn with tag used as tail
Body hackle: cree and olive
Front hackle: golden plover

It's cool to see you working on the bumble flies. They are interesting and it looks like you've got the hang of it. Again, I haven't tried to tie these, but it looks great to me. Good color combination and a good shot too.

Thanks guys,

I have tied bumble style flies for years as I found they work great on the high lakes. But I haven't really sat down and learned much about them historically or studied the traditional components and construction until lately.

This was only a descriptive name don't know if there is a "golden bumble" in use already. This was just a work with a color scheme and materials not working with any established pattern.
