Searching for something our local browns haven't seen over and over...

Thread: Pearsall's Gossamer, primrose
Hackle: Waterhen upper covert
Tag: Thread wraps
Rib: Heron herl palmered
Abdomen: Touching thread wraps
Thorax: Natural mole loosely twist dubbed

Fabulous dressing, Bill! That aught to work like a charm. I love the look of the fuzzy segmentation. Very natural looking.

Btw, more hooks (the Daiichi's you wanted +), for you went in the mail today.....with extra Retainer Bends thrown in on top and also some size 6 Gama's the Bass Stinger hooks.....have at it Bro.

I hope you're kidding. This looks like a fly that I would love, if that makes any sense. I love a lot of flies, but if I were to sit and use my own preferences for the result, I would hope it would resemble this one. Great use of every material and proportions that ring true for me. Have a great time in Wisconsin. Tag a couple big muskies and get a grip and grin pic for sure.
