The idea for this fly came from CreationBear's comment about my other chocolate themed fly. The photo really doesn't do the fly justice, in terms of the color scheme. It is actually quite a striking color combination. The rich brown of the hackle and hares ear dubbing blend nicely with the pink silk. This is going to be an interesting fly to fish with. Once again I am looking forward to having someone ask me "What did you catch that fish on?". I will answer "A chocolate covered strawberry!"

A beautifully dressed and delicious looking fly, the trout will not be able to resist it.

You know, I think I'd fish this one under just about
any conditions, hatch or no hatch.
