Had some spare dubbing left over after tying a series of flies and rather than wasting it, whipped up a few of these. No idea how they'll go but seems to me they should be good for a hatching caddis or maybe a larger darker brown mayfly?
The dubbing is a mix of brown, tan and summer duck seals fur with a wee flash of rib showing through. Wanted to give an impression of a bit of bulk. Next season will tell me how they fare

That will fish well, no doubt. You may wish you had more of that dubbing around.

Really nice Johnno. It's great seeing flies from other parts of the world. Really we're not so different. I like this one a lot. Is that a little tail or just stray fibres from the dubbing?

Nice and flymphy. Great fly, Johnno. I especially like the dubbed body. That's harder to achieve than it looks. You really nailed it.
