too many pics!

Each one of these flies was tyed just to be photographed. Each one of these flies was photographed a minimum of two times. The pictures have been sub par to say the least. My wife was watching my frustration and asked a co-worker of hers to come talk to me. Kari, the friend, kinda giggled at my lighting set ups both inside and outside. She asked to see some pictures and ofcourse I obliged. I need to interject here..Kari is a professional photographer, but "Macro" is not her specialty. You know, the wedding pictures, Senior pics? After looking at my pics, she set up my camera and took a few pics herself. They turned out about the same as mine. She did suggest I get a little darker background, but also gave some different advise. "Wayne, your camera is for underwater and geared for the outdoors. You may have to pay more than a hundred bucks to get the pics you want." My little Fuji WP has served me well on the river, but I think she's right. The bright side? I sure have tyed alot of Flymphs and Soft Hackles in the last three weeks! ;)

Thats the pile of flys that was photographed. The pile that didnt get photo'd is atleast 3 times bigger. I do believe I have enough flys to last the summer! :-)

Wayne - It didn't take long, for your photography skills to exceed the capabilities of your camera. I am very impressed.

The flies look great, by the way. Looks like you're going to have a great summer.

PS - You're going to need some more hooks...

DUBBIN, Howdy;

Don't do either, just don't put you heavy coat away just yet...

Local forcast sez rain moderiate to heavy tonight... SNOW above 8,500' ASL(Above Sea Level) ....

Don't need any more water just now. The snow pack in the Mtns. already has enough to
fill ALL of the reservoirs 3 times each. The seasonal roads arn't open yet, above 8,500' ASL.
There is between 6 and 10 FEET (2.8 to 3.2 meters) of snow up there STILL.....
