You've really done justice to the waterhen, willliam! That is an outstanding pattern.

Again, sorry I'm just getting to this. The way this overall composition, color shifts and body texture turned out is one of my favorite flies that i've tied in a long time. Since the Black Gnat pattern. The worked closely on the others, but not quite that same density change from bend to thorax. So thanks for the kind works, I wish they had all turned out so clean. My goal in tying focuses on this type of skill gained, rather than creativity or making a splash. But it's those patterns that inspire me to expand my subtle little path. Anyway, Thanks again.
