fishhead, Howdy;

All 3 flys are great!
With this and 'Orange' both tyed on the shorter shanked scud hooks and with the short body my question is;

What was your motavation, inspiration or thoughts behind such a sparse tye?????

Just courious.....

No real reason for tying the fly sparse other than I liked the look of it and in my local waters I do real well on smaller sparse patterns when the water is gin clear

I live in NJ, my home water would be, the musky, south branch including the ken lookwood gorge, and the pequest
There is much more as well. I had trouble my first winter fishing the gorge till I found out I just had to scale down, before that( about 5 or 6 yes ago) I never fished any fly below a size 16.

fishhead, Howdy;

Thanks. I grew-up across the Delaware, in Bucks Co. Pa. Used to fish it and Neshaminy Creek near Newtown, Pa.(Tyler St. Park)

This is really cool. I like those proportions, especially with the wide gape. Cool pattern. Would be great in #16 and #18.
