A superb dressing Hans, simple, spare, brilliant.
The hook profile is exactly the same as the TMC206BL, one of my favourite hooks.
I might give this a try with some white/cream or pale dun hen I have.
Again, a fine piece of work.

Hans, Howdy;

I've been remiss, I saw the flys you posted and was astounded by the flawlessness of the tyes and the clarity of the photos.
I also forgot to say Welcome back ... Haven’t seen you on here since almost February or March. Hope you have been well and busy
during that time.
Truly an enjoyable experience seeing what develops from your fertile imagination.

Where does one go about finding the feathers from a grass parakeet? Is this a molted feather from a pet perhaps?

Welcome back, old friend. Beautiful fly, as always...

Hans, it's always nice to see a new hackle, new to me. This one looks well suited to a more traditional wing material. What's with the name? (hoping this grass parakeet wasn't your pet named Budgie.)
