Rusty Dun Emerger

Here is one I tied a few months ago, it was mislaid and forgotten.
Rusty Dun Emerger.
Hook: Size 12 Orvis s/e Dry hook.
Thread: Yellow fluo.
Tail: Dun Shuck material.
Body: Tying Thread.
Thorax: Tan Dubbing.
Hackle: Rusty Dun hen.

I do have a question, are the blue there on purpose or is it setting on a Van de graaff generator throwing off sparks ???

I tied that fly several months ago, and I rather guessed the recipe.
I shall have to correct it, can't remember anything blue about it.

Donald - I think this pattern would also make a great sulphur imitation. Handsome fly.
