I have finished the first version of the article, the first part is on Roger Woolley's flies,
the second part is on John Turton's Chub flies. Give me your e-mails via PM if you want a copy.

Bye-the-way Hank, you find Woolley's book is physically quite a small book, it is called a
pocket-book, although it has 218 pages and is packed with more info on fly-dressing than you
can believe.
During WW2 an RAF aircrewman who had been shot down over Germany had a copy
in his pocket. The Germans examined it very closely and decided to let him keep it.
It was stamped with a Swastika by their Censor, he brought it back after the war from whatever
Stalag he had been it. I believe it went for a considerable price a few years ago.

Donald, Howdy;

Thanks for the gentel push to stay after it.
Kind of like a Scot version of the cavelery to the rescue...

... a heard of Scot's charging over the hilltop, kilts flappin' wildly in the breezes .....
enough to motivate anyone... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Howdy All;

After Donald's 'nudge' to keep looking I found another copy.
Only $8.00 more and listed as used/excellent condition. This one is already in the mail (Post).

Donald, again, thanks for the nudge.
