VERY very nice Kelly.....personally, i think i'd like it better with the hackle thru the thorax in this particular version..........but it's YOUR fly, and it's REALLY nice.

Thanks for the comments. I was just fooling around with some dubbing I made before. The fly looks better in person, than this photograph though. The hackle collar is a hen from Tom Wait's flock. I used a scud hook for it. I don't think it is finished. I have not tried the hackle through the thorax yet Mark. I have very little flymph experience, but am trying to learn.

Nice one Kelly! I enjoy seeing the experimentation. I think this fly would make an excellent scud imitation.
