Messin' with materials

Hook - Diachii 1640, #12
Rib - Fine Gold Wire
Body - Base of black thread, then 2 layers of H2O "Big Fish" Flash (Fly Tyers Dungeon)
Flash was waxed, then touch dubbed with dark Hare' Mask.
Thorax - Wapsi Steel Super Bright, black
Hackle - Starling

Using up scraps and ends. Head isn't so hot, but I like the way the body turned out.

Simply ingenius......that body KILLS! Ya done Way Good. If you don't mind, could you tye another.....maybe with a little tuft of a tail and throw a pic up for us to check out........?........IF, ya don't mind. VERY curious as to how that'd look.

i dunno why........but i got this "thing" bout tails...........usually meaning, i prefere them..........but not always. Some flies just seem to beg to have one........while other seems just fine wiffout. And i am not making any reference whatsoever between Mayfly and Caddis imitation........on that level i'm completely convinced it makes absolutely no difference to the fish..................it's just an asthetics "thing"...................you dig?
