Nice tie Hans..... does it float well in a pint of Guinness, or does it absorb all the liquid and demand more?

Does have those Irish tonings!

Hans, is there a touch of something in the thorax or it just exquisite hackle selection? Cool hook for this fly, and the density of that thorax area is just amazing. Like wrapping through ostrich.

William, no thorax, hackle selection.

Hans, as usual, I LOVE IT. Now is that furnace a hen or not? I have furnace rooster feathers, but that is it.

Kelly,

I used a soft rooster hackle. The brown part is mostly web-free, the black center quite webby (as William noticed). Makes for a pleasing effect.

This fly exudes beauty because of its simplicity. Thumbsup, Hans.
