Abdomen: Mink, smoky grey - inserted into split thread
Thorax: Mink, smoky grey - inserted into split thread
Note: Longer staple dubbing for thorax section, to give 'hazy smoke' illusion

I really like the hackle. I haven't seen that effect with a grizzly hackle before. Almost appears as two separate hackles.

I really like the application of the tinsel. It gives the body a real segmented appearance. Love it!

Were you in NZ during the Whitebait season? This body style would give a wonderful immitation of one of those.
