Thread: Griffith's 14/0 dun
Rib: single strand of yellow silk floss
Body: dun thread waxed, wrapped to a taper and burnished to smooth sheen
Thorax: mole dyed olive
Hackle: medium dun hen hackle

Glad you guys like it. Sorry for the Sakasa's lately, I know they are not flymphs but do fit the wingless wet scenario anyway.

Very cool, though you're going have to get used to catching a lot more fish. I bet next year's batch of kebari will be up-armored.

Don't be sorry for them Carl. I really like this style of fly for fishing. And who says you need a tenkara rod for them?!?

Carl, I'm in favor of seeing more tenkara-style flies here on the forum. After I saw this handsome dude yesterday, I ordered some of those Targus hooks. You like them?

I do. I have heard some complaints from people about them breaking ( targus hooks in general) but I have never had a problem with them and I have used Targus for many years. Plus, comparatively, they are priced nicely.
