Tail: Golden Pheasant Tippet, dyed orange
Thorax: Ice Dub, orange

First in a series of flies "imitating" various trout and char. Excuse the apple, again. Looking for other fruit stands...get it?! :lol: :roll:

Just a point of correction - the ice dub color is officially "rusty brown". May try tweaking this fly a bit...but that means I may have to buy more materials! AHHHHH! :o :D

Hi Ruard,

It is not dyed, but I see what you mean. I could be a little of the natural greenish iridescence in the feather or a "side effect" of the poor lighting/white balance issue I am tying to correct. Thanks!
