Hook: Mustad Signature R70, size 12
Thread: Pearsall's chestnut
Hackle: ginger hen
Abdomen: "string" from grocery fruit mesh bag, red, wound touching turns to hook bend. Auburn rabbit fur from behind ears on hare's mask, white tips cut off, then applied into split red "string", twisted, then wound in open turns towards hook eye.
Thorax: auburn rabbit fur

Both the fly and the recycling of the bags some of your "fly stands" come in.

Love it Tom! The colours are so complimentary. And I can just see you in the produce section mumbling to yourself, despairing over what fruit you're going to try next and everyone in the store thinking maybe you need to be committed!

I am enjoying your flies & photos very much. I love your imaginative approach. Reminds me a lot of the creations of our friend Hans.
