Looks like a great pattern to use at dawn, or dusk, especially.

Great fly. Looks like a capital killer!
PS - I like your sense of humor (chocolate covered strawberry).

Thank you for your kind words. I was really happy with the color combination and general proportions of the fly but after posting the picture came to see that the dubbed body and ribbing left some lumps and bumps. So I am going to try to dub and wind the body a little tighter and hope that it turns out a little better looking.
Letumgo, I'm glad you liked my attempt at humor!

Izaak, your posts have really been great to see. I admire your tying style and creativity very much. This is no exception. My only concern is that you're going to muck up a really great fly tighting things up a bit. I like this the way it is. Promise if you tie one that is a little "better looking" that you'll tie another picked out a bit.

I like this one a lot. It's got a buggy factor the way it is. Great post.

W,
It's a deal! I like your idea of picking out some of the dubbing, so I'll give that a go and post both soon.

I'd load a box with all three. These look like they can't miss. Honestly, I couldn't pick a fav of the three, just great flies to have on hand. I hope you're eating all this fruit. Im guessing you've never felt better.
