I know the flys were not tyed with CDL, but my word that looks like the fly that my father inlaw would use on the Brooky infested streams he fished in Western Montana! Very well done sir.

Tom - delightful fly. The hackle harmonizes beautifully with the body.

Tom, another nicely put together example. This is a good way to get the segmentation and contrast that is appealing. I find moose one of my favorite body materials, especially with a twist. :D

Izaak, Howdy;

You post these beauties so consistantly, ya make it hard to
select the most fitting discripter. I hate to be repitious.

It would be so much easier if all ya did was throw several wraps of
thread on the hook, sling a chunk of fur and a ratty looking feather on.
We could all say, "looks like crap", over and over and over... Nope, YOU chose
to go the fancy route... my list of 'happy' discripters is limited and you sir are
pushing that limit :twisted: . (all said/written toungue -in-cheek as somewhat sarcastic humor). ;)

:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

:D
