Bill, another killer pattern. There are times when a fuller fly like this seems preferrable over something less meaty. If you do a cree version, please post it up. This one turned out nice. I can see this in several profiles and prove a very effective pattern. Cool post.

Weird.. I was just reading an article last night about an Adams flymph that's very popular in the Smokey Mnt. range.
Very nice fly.

I tend to have more luck with fuller flies and tie most of my soft hackles kind of "fat".

Great pattern, I should add this one to my box no doubt. Thanks for the idea!
