Tom, this is one of those patterns that begs to be shown wet as well. The thread color cutting through the hackle just hints at what is really in there. This is a cool approach, with the slim profile and thin dubbing and it should get at the translucence very well I would think when wet.

Superb example of a fishing fly (I mean that as a sincere compliment). Great job, buddy!

I like this, especially the body!
