After looking at March Browns stream side I came up with something simple and effective... looking.
Hook: Favorite size 10-12 x1long wet fly hook.
Thread: Rusty Orange 8/0 Uni.
Tail: Tan mallard flank.
Rib: Copper Brown Uni-wire in Brassie size.
Body: Pumpkin and Brown Uni-Stretch, woven. (If you don't know how to weave fly bodies, practice it, it's great!)
Thorax: SLF March Brown dubbing, fairly thick.
Hackle: Brown Hungarian Partridge.
I tied a couple of these up hackling stewart style and they look great as well. Try both out!

Thanks Kelly. With March Browns making such an early appearance around my area I can go test it out asap.

Oh, man . . . I'm having a hard enough time with standard dubbings, and now you want me to start weaving bodies?
This is gorgeous. Maybe someday I'll give it a try.

Smuggler, Howdy;
By weaving do you mean as in bob-n-weave in the pugilistic sense,
or what happens to my fingers when tying a simple fly ?????

Very nice!
I have enough trouble tying straight wraps let alone weaving bodies on flies.

Anyone that has taken the time to learn the trade and have the patience to do so has my appreciation.

Do you need any help field testing?
Really cool fly. I think if I tried weaving , I would only hurt myself. My hat's off to you.
