Clear Tups
Hook: Sprite Perfect International #14
Thread: Pearsall's Gossamer, yellow
Hackle: Whiting Coq de Leon, medium pardo, sparse and short
Filler: Small amount of grey dubbing behind hackle, to wedge the bead
Bead: Clear plastic
Tail: Whiting Coq de Leon barbs, medium pardo
Abdomen: Tying silk, just a couple touching turns
Thorax: Tying silk, split, tups dubbing inserted, twisted

I like this one Hans (I'm still digesting the s'more one)......I like the clear bead and that tups blend is very well suited....to me it has just enough red in it. The grey dubbing to wedge the bead works perfect and blends very very nicely.

Hmmm. No. Not convinced these are your best work Hans (this and the S'more) :)

The beads just don't do it for me soft hackle wise. Just a personal thing. Other's opinion may differ and thats the way it should be
