alright Tom, this looks simple enough from the recipe, but you're going to have to elaborate a bit on how you got that body. It's got a little something extra in the technique that I would love to hear about. Gorgeous fly.

OK, you got me. I confess...I forgot to list the "fairy dust" in the recipe. I lightly dubbed the thread with a bit of creamy colored hare's fur....no split thread or dubbing brush...just spun it onto the thread. Then when I took the photograph I backlit the fly and snow pea pod with the lamps to give it an "apparition" look, thus the name. Oh! ... and I had my fingers crossed for good luck the whole time!

Come out to Colorado and fish with me. So I can drown you. Your tying technique is great, your photography skills are obviously as good as anything I have seen on the net, but your sense of humor needs adjustment!

On a serious note, you are a great tyer and an asset to this forum. Well done sir.

This fly is haunting, so you named it properly. I love it. There is just something special about it. I bet the fish would go wild over it!
