Tail: Lady Amherst tippet barbs, dyed in picric acid
Body: Acrylic, bright yellow - thread allowed to bleed through
Wing: Guinea fowl barbs, dyed dark claret

What does the name mean? I do not know the phrase "Coullis".

I have packets of cheap dyed Guinea, now I have a use for some of it. Being aimed at the craft market I will have to check the dye used wasnt water soluable though! :roll:

I asked Google, and it told me it is a colorful cooking sauce; Hans confirmed this, but ask him what he originally intended to name this fly ... ;) .
