Bring some of those to Roscoe, william; the sulphurs should be starting to show up, and this will really interest them.

Thanks everyone. Simple is simple and I like living in the space between flymphs and spiders. I feel like a few of these in a couple sizes and colors and that would be the end of my tying. But that's not how it works is it.

I plan on using quite a bit more seal as I'm trying to understand its potential. I can see why most of Schwiebert's old patterns called for seal and polar bear. They just dance in the light. I just need to give these some field testing with varying amounts of seal. Maybe I'll single out a box and commit to it for a season. Reports to follow...2013.
Wayne how are you coming along with your seal patterns?
Hans, what is your appraisal of patterns tied with seal or snowshoe vs cdc? Just curious.
I know where Jim stands.

  No further inquiries required.

				William, good memory sir.
I incorporated the Seal in a few large Caddis Patterns. Size 8 in preperation for high runoff.

Wayne, you really nailed that one. Bring on the caddis. I looked at tying some in larval and pupa forms just for fun. The life in the body you've tied would be a nice attribute with any of these flies. Well done.

The fly is a fishing standard, or should be. Loved it.
