You've been busy, pushing the envelope again in a most beautiful way.
Thanks, Hans.

Hans, Howdy;

So, ... for the Thorax/hackle your sayin' you stuffed (gentily),
the hackle and the thorax dubbing all into the split thread,
gave it a decient twist, then wrapped it onto the hook
allatthesametime..... ?

Hank,

Not quite 8-)

Hackle tied in, by tip, at end of thorax
Thread split
Dubbing inserted
Thread twisted, trapping dubbing
Hackle stem parallel to dubbing 'brush'
Twist 'brush' and hackle together
Wrap to eye
Tie down hackle butt
Trim hackle stem
Finish off fly

Cheers,
Hans W

Hans, another clever technique. You do achieve a slightly different effect than with a conventional method and it's just cool. Nicely done.

Yes, as usual, Hans, this fly screams to be fished. Inspirational!

I like this as well Hans. I tie a very similar pattern that is all black using black ice dub and a little red flash mixed in.
