Another very nice fly Hans, great colour combination.
Is the 'Flash' a flat tinsel?

Yes it is, Donald. A flat 'holographic' tinsel.

Very nice Hans. I like this, and that Sunrise fly too.

That is a nice fly Hans. It will catch fish. Geoffey Bucknall Had an article in FlyFishing Fly Tying magazine last year concerning re-thinking color changes at different depths. I tied up a bunch of his pink flies & they really do catch Trout. His pattern called for a pale ginger hackle.
my version: Salmon berry (pink Pearsall's) thread body
bleached Partridge dyed pale ginger for tail
Davy wotton bright pink slf for thorax
Pale ginger partridge hackle
Rib: optional, I use fine platinum wire rib-almost forgot that
