That's just classic...

Should come with an "Ito" report, though.

I know, I know....trout season opened last weekend, rain, rain, rain, flooding and it snowed this morning.

Ha, I have trouble having sympathy for somebody living in your neck of the woods--should be Paradise by the time September rolls around, anyway.

Otherwise, a great looking fly--about as "caddis-y" they come, at least to my eyes.

Agree with CB - classic.
This one gives me the warm fuzzies. Really like the look of the body.

This is true

We had beautiful weather about 3 weeks ago and everything greened up nicely, there was just no fishing to be had.
Thanks guys for the comments, glad you like the tie.

Old Hat, Howdy;
Really like the way you were able to capture the colors in the hackle.
The fly itself is outstanding!!

Nice fly Carl! It must be something about the weather. I just spent some time this week blending dubbing from 3 different masks while watching the rain, but I was thinking sharptailed grouse and plover.

In between showers I did get in 3 nice hours of swinging soft hackles on the Powder last Saturday-lots of small native redbands and 1 hatchery holdover. No snow in town for us.
