Yes yes, the heat of summer has set in quite nicely here in central Pennsylvania and everyone has Terrestrial patterns on their mind. Which is fine and dandy and quite fun I might add but, I hate the heat and humidity. So I'm tying patterns up for the fall, one of which are beatis.. also great fun!
Image
Hook: Tiemco 206BL sz. 14.. W has me hooked on these curved hooks.

Enjoy!

Smuggler, this has all the character to make a great baetis, and an outstanding general softie. Outs a nice combo of the yarns. They are very compelling. Great pattern and a cool pic.

What William said. :D
Nice texture and segmentation with the yarn, "buggy" colours. I like the head colour for contrast and that is one heck of a well looked after Condex the fly is sitting on. 8-)

You noticed that did you? I managed to find a decent lot of Young reels in fantastic condition from a gentleman on the fiberglass forums.

Thanks for the nice comments guys.
