Hook - WR-011, Size 12
Thread - 14/0 Cinnamon
Body - Tan Hare's Ear Plus, touch dubbed
Thorax - 2 part, Back - Hare's Ear Plus, Chocolate Brown
Front - Hare's Web, Black
Hackle -Badger Hen Neck Dyed Golden Olive
2-tone thorax doesn't stand out very well. Might work better if I wasn't so heavy handed with the hackle.
Really like the Hare's Ear Plus stuff.

That's a neat looking fly. I bet when wet the hare will come through for you. perhaps calls for a variation with light hackle to be carried beside it in the fly box, if one doesn't do it for the local fish life...... the other might, though I see no reason for a refusal on this one

.
That is a cool hook, love the straight eye..... and the size of it.

That's a great looking composition. I like the subtly of the three dubbings. What was the reason for the double thorax. It's a little more effort, but I really like all the tonal changes. Nice pattern and a great pic.

Hi w.
Actually no reason for the two-tone thorax. Had a wisp of the black hare's web floating around on my desk and just added it on. I think it would look better with a more gradual blending, not quite so much contrast. I often just grab whatever I see in the way of materials and start tying.
