Sweet Inspiration (Candy Corn Soft Hackles)

The other day I was wandering thru the store and saw a display of candles made of various colors of candy corn. I was inspired to take a photo of the display and use the colors to create some Halloween themed soft hackle flies. These color combinations may work on panfish, or perhaps wild brook trout. The white tail, may make them ideal for chubs (similar to the ones Donald Nicholson mentioned in Roger Woolley’s book called “Modern Trout Fly Dressing” (1932).
