Peacock and Partridge

On another thread, Ray (letumgo) was kind enough to provide some links to small midge Soft Hackles that he tyed. I have had 24 hours for those little patterns to roll around in my head. I could have used hen hackle and made them look decent, but I wanted Partridge like Rays.
This is the 5th of 6 flies and is the best looking. Not even in Rays neighborhood as far as looks. Thats ok, I am still gonna catch fish with it before the year is out. If I do, I can brag that I caught fish on a Peacock and Partridge in one year, in sizes 20 to 10. Nobody that I know cares about my bragging but thats beside the point.

Hook - Mustad 3906 size 20
Thread - Sheer 14/0 Black
Body - Peacock Herl
Hackle - Partridge Tied in per Charlie Cravens method ( http://www.charliesflyboxinc.com/flybox ... rentID=155 )

You know, it looked a lot better before I smashed it down putting it in my hackle pliers.
