Everyone(?) like a good puzzle, a bit of mystery.
Well, you are in luck today
I have been experimenting a bit with a material a friend sent to me - here used as the abdomen
Whodunit Spider
I offer it to you to work out what the material used is.
Any takers?

Magnetic tape from a music cassette, stretched until fine, wound and then coated with a UV resin finish. Either that or eye lash of a cinnamon phase black bear......

Very hard to see on the small notebook screen
even if opening the photo in another window and expanding it.
But to me it looks animal, slight verigation in tone with the colours, so I am guessing animal. Knowing you have friends from all over the world I am thinking it could be any damn thing! Lion Mane, or Elephant nasal cavity hairs...... would not put it past you Hans.
How about Wild Boar hair?

I think Jeff was getting close. I can identify the body material as the ear hair from a 72 year old male, retired bus driver, probably from Clinton County, Michigan.
