Very nice, Hans. Reminds me of the "Rat" series of steelhead flies. The purple and red seem to draw my eye the most.

Nice effect. I imagine that single strand of flash would look very attractive to fish as it wiggles around in the current. I think I will add that to a few fishing flies for testing. The purple one is my favorite of the lot.

Now that is a sparce wing. It's just sparce enough to still qualify for this site. :D

The body/mess/fibers kind of reminds me of the CDC and Elk with all the fibers doing what they will. Only in appearance I think. CDC really doesn't have an equal.

LOL - note I took great care not to refer to the Polar Flash as 'wing'....

What they will? That is fine, as long as they will the same as I want them to. I call it Controlled Chaos 8-)

Another great pattern!

I can just imagine what it must look like underwater when the light hits it just so.
