Nice flies. You'd hate to see my variety for PMDs. It goes on forever from floating nymph to flymph to cripple to dun. Even I don't know how many variations I have in the box!! :D

DUBBN,

Nice one! I like the look of it a lot. Like Eric, I am a fan of the PMD. A PMD flymph has saved many a day from being a skunk.

Love that contrast (dark body, light thorax). Great flymph for PMDs in mind...

I have always been a fan of the PMD nymph. It was not till last June that I became a fan of the Flymph, purely by accident. It was the first time I had taken Odie my half Chihuahua, half Pug fishing with me. I did more puppy sitting than fishing that day. On the walk back down the river, I removed my Indicator (bobber) and split shot and put a flymph on. It was this fly. I caught a few fish just casting out into the seams of the river while walking down the bank. There were a few PMD's coming off that late morning and I kind of put two and two together.

After I showed the fly to JohnP, he mentioned that it was a nice Tups variation. I immediately Googled Tups as I had no idea what that was.
Later in the week I went back and the PMD's were hatching in earnest. I slayed the fish that day with a directly across river cast and a dead drift (big mends), letting the PMD flymph stay in the film as long as possible.

Enough of my ramblings. Thanks folks for the kind words.

I really really like the first one. I'll take 3 dozen or maybe Ill just dream them into existence. Beauties for the eye tastie for the trout.

Great stuff DUBBN. Love seeing all your flies lately. There is sure a big departure from that first and other two.
