This is a variation on a pattern from Charlie Cravens site. It has been a fine producer for me the past 6 years. I do not tie it with a bead like Charlie, and the tubing has a wire core.

DUBBN, Howdy;
Wayne, what I like about these patterns is that you
share where they came from and we can see and compare
how you've modified them. Your tying skills are improving
every day...

Tied two years ago. I think you are right.

Great pattern. I agree with Hank, your tying skills are top-notch.

Wayne I've heard lots of praise for the ice dub, and have some, but haven't fished it much in favor of more natural materials. Probably a real loss on my part. It looks great here. I always like to see your best producers. This one doesn't surprise me at all. Beautifully done.

Thank you William. The Ice Dub is good for this pattern for sure. I am not sure why, but this pattern rivaled the Peacock and Partridge for me this past Winter.

I like that fly very much. There wasn't a thing wrong with your fly from two years ago either. I'd fish either of them in a heartbeat.

I can't think of a better way to "present" a fly, or a better endorsement of a patterns effectiveness...
