Very nice, love this style of fly!

Hans, this is very UK of you and a nice tie. I have a request. I know your materials are listed in the order they are tied in, but could you very briefly relay the procedure sequence? Primary hackle tied in, body hackle tied in , rib and tag tied down the shank to the bend, tail tied in place, tag wrapped then tied off, dubbed body forward from bend, body hackle brought back from the fore and held in place as the rib is brought forward. It's just done very well. Thanks for sharing.

You got it down pat, mostly

As per the recipe I tied in tail (at thorax position). Perhaps not immediately obvious is this: I also lashed down tail and ribbing to bend with the tinsel - thread remained well away from the bend. All in the vein of economising the tying process.

Thanks Hans. I've never fished these, to what I usually associate as loch flies, but they are compelling and interesting to tie.
