Oh, but I know some hungry Crappie that will suck up anything of a fl.chartreuse and black! Really a sweet looking fly! Teamed with a hot orange and black and there would be nothing else needed!
Thank you for sharing!

Strange how one person looks at a pattern and sees one thing and another person sees something completely different. I look at Toms pattern and see cased caddis dredged along the river bottom for hungry trout.
Well tyed patterns Tom. You really do a quality job on your flies and photography.

Wayne - I took another look at Tom's fly and can imagine it as a cased caddis pattern too. Makes me wanna tie.

Izaak, Howdy;
With the chartreuse section on those my mind went straight
to my old ways and fishes ... Crappie! They'd be all over that offering,

I see the musings of a graphic artist with a keen eye and some time on his hands.

Tom,
You are singing my song (and quite well!!) with this pattern! Your flies are just fantastic! I think it would be easy for a person to overdose on stuff like this! Should there be some kind of warning label on each photo before it pops up on the screen? Like those F.B.I. warnings at the head of each movie one watches!
This one will be added to long list on the bulletin board above my desk in the den!
Inspired by your work,
Dougsden
