Thank you for sharing more of your spiders. These are lovely. You can't go wrong with spiders, in my opinion. :D

Quality tying Izaak. For the bodies are you wrapping back with the thread then forward in the open wrap so that there is one layer of thread and the ribbing effect?

It appears this way. One thing I like to do to achieve the rib of thread is to retain the tag end of the thread when tying on the thread initially. Tie it down as you wrap to the back, then provide a second layer of thread forward and follow that with a ribbing from the tag end. Just a different method. I like the two layers of thread for the bodies, I think it heightens the color I'm after and gives a little more depth and translucence than the single layer.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

Your crisp, clean tying style is perfect for commercial purposes, Izzak. If I were going to purchase flies, I would ask you to tie them.

Yes. A single layer of thread and then open wraps. I like your idea of wrapping with a tag end. I do that on some other patterns I tie and it does give a richer look.
