Another one with a bit of a hot spot - for winter fishing
Hangman Spider
Hook: Kamasan B175 #12
Thread: Benecchi 12/0, black
Hackle: Hen mallard neck feather
Rib: Wire, silver fine
Tag: Glo-Brite #2 (pink)
Body: Fox squirrel (or hare's ear) - in split thread

If I were to enter a Whitefish contest, I would be sure to have a few of these in my fly box, and one on my line. I am sure I could fool a Rainbow trout or three with it as well.

That is a fish getter for sure. I can't seem to stop looking at it. Lovely work, but it looks like the fish here would eat that up about now. I like everything about this one for sure.
