Easter & Grouse
Walking through a dollar store, I saw big bags of this stuff used for Easter baskets. Picked up the pink purple and yellow. its like flashabu but stronger. Added a bit of Peacock dubbin, Will try swinging it this spring.

Re: Easter & Grouse
Love it! Beautiful searching pattern. I have no doubt about this fly. You've created a very "catching" pattern.
Nicely done. Thanks for sharing, Lornce.

Very creative!

I'm not usually much for synthetics, but find this fly of yours quite appealing -- very well tied. Bet the brookies will love it too.

You should also check out the same stores right after Christmas. Tinsels are very cheap then.

Nice use of Easter material! Pink makes a great rainbow pattern.
I have to admit when I picked out filling for the kid's baskets, one blue, one "shrimp color", I did it with post tying intentions in mind.

I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.
