Re: Big Bite
Hans,
I like it! Of course, the color combinations are endless but the chestnut and dark chestnut goes well together. Dave Hughes offered an all fur nymph in his book "Wet Flies". That was the first I had seen a fly tied in that way. I have a suspection that it may have been thought of, tied, and used long before I discovered it. Can anyone offer a little history?
It is pleasing Hans to me to sit down in the evenings and take in what you and others have created at the vice. Please keep up the good work. I appreciate it and I know many others around the globe do too!
Does anyone have a Christmas fly in mind? It's less than two weeks away gents!
Forever in toyland with this web-site before me,
Dougsden

Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.

Re: Big Bite
Doug,
While not explicit Xmas, here are two recent flies which may qualify. I 'apologize' that both have wings...
Thistle
Pintail Spey (a.k.a. Rudolph)
Cheers,
