Made some of my favourite spiders today.. Just love this one.. Deadly, goo looking and you can whip up a dozen in no time at all. A true go fish pattern!

Nik, you make it very easy to see why this fly is so effective when tied well. that hackle is really going to dance.

Do you tie in the feather by the tip? And then wind forward and tie it in?

Sooo simple and eligant. Your hackle choice is superb! Very clean lines and a great finish at the head. This would make a great portrait to hang in a certain admirerers den! Do you have any for sale? Think about it! It's great!
