Your boxes are immaculate; a shinning city on a distant hill; something to aspire to. My boxes, by comparison, look like a rusted, worm encrusted Hills Brothers coffee can full of #12 hairballs, ralphed up by one of the barn cats.

That is a cool fly box. Keep a band aid or two for the common puncture occurrence.

I first used an Altoid box when I first started out. I was so proud to have purchased my first dozen flies about 30 years ago. Then as I got more advanced, I used an old Macanudo Ascot tin. This easily held several dozen flies.

The good old days! ;)

My other companion box at the time was a Prince Albert can. :) I did have a plastic rotary fly box for my good dry flies. 8-)
