Great job, Ruard, of bringing to light the considerable talents of our friend Doug. His flies are beautifully conceived and very well executed; I'd fish any of them with confidence.

They're all very good Doug! The 1st two have the "Scud" thing going, make good spring creek flies.

Doug; Someone has spent A LOT of time in front of his vise ...those are some DY-NO-MITE looking flys.

The flies and the photographs are exceptionally well done! Doug & Ruard - Thank you for sharing these with us. I am genuinely impressed by you talents.

Doug - please share the names and recipes for these patterns. They are all "keepers" in my book.

Wow, that first one is really IN YOUR FACE when it pops up. Love it. These are really nice examples of a lot of great techniques and well executed. Thanks for sharing these, especially up close. Whoa.
